Smith & Wesson Model 681 .357 Mag 4-inch

The Model 681 is the fixed-sight stainless L-frame in .357 Magnum, designed for law enforcement agencies that preferred stainless durability without the cost premium of adjustable sights. It mirrors the relationship between the Model 10 and Model 14: same frame and caliber, fixed versus adjustable sights. Discontinued in the late 1980s in favor of the adjustable-sight 686.
