Springfield Armory M1903 .30-06 Springfield 24-inch

The Springfield M1903 was the standard US Army rifle from its adoption through WWI and into WWII. A direct response to the superiority of the Spanish Mauser in the Spanish-American War, it combined Mauser features with American manufacturing. Used by Marines at Guadalcanal alongside the M1 Garand.
