The Model 27 is the original .357 Magnum revolver, introduced in 1935 as the Registered Magnum. Built on the large N-frame to handle the then-new .357 Magnum cartridge, it features the finest fit and finish S&W has ever applied to a production revolver. Pre-war examples are among the most collectible American handguns.
