S&W Model 60 .357 Mag 2.125-inch

The .357 Magnum version of the Model 60 expanded the J-frame's capability to handle .357 Magnum loads starting around 1996. While the .357 Magnum generates significant muzzle blast and recoil from a 2-inch J-frame, the capability provides maximum flexibility — the gun can fire .38 Special for training and full .357 for self-defense.
