About this powder
IMR 4831 is the original "4831" powder from which Hodgdon H4831 was developed. Note: IMR 4831 and Hodgdon H4831 have slightly different burn rates and are NOT directly interchangeable without separate load data. The standard choice for 7mm Rem Mag, .300 Win Mag, and similar magnum cartridges.
