Overview

One of the oldest American firearms manufacturers, founded by Horace Smith and Daniel B. Wesson in 1852. In 2020, American Outdoor Brands (accessories division) was spun off as a separate public company (AOUT); S&W Brands then renamed itself Smith & Wesson Brands (SWBI). Known for revolvers and the M&P series of polymer pistols.
