The P226 Nitron in .357 SIG is the baseline full-size P226 chambered for the high-velocity .357 SIG cartridge. Shares the Nitron finish, polymer grips, and DA/SA decocker layout of the 9mm model. The P226 was one of the first production pistols chambered for .357 SIG when the cartridge was introduced in 1994. Widely adopted by Texas DPS and other agencies that mandated the cartridge.
