Historic German manufacturer. Gebrüder Mauser & Cie. was established in 1874 by Wilhelm and Paul Mauser; the factory lineage traces to the Königlich Württembergische Gewehrfabrik at Oberndorf (1811). The Mauser 98 bolt-action is the most influential rifle action in history. Now produces the M18 and M98 hunting rifles under the Lüke & Ortmeier Group umbrella.
